Mary Two-Axe Earley lost her Indian status when she married a white man and spent two decades fighting for the right of her people to keep their status regardless of whom they chose to marry. She won in 1985 when the Indian Act was amended. That said, she deserves a portrait.

This is what I’ve deemed some uplifting destruction of sorts. It’s one of those random doodles that turned into something fun. You can find my own review of this piece here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vo6RsvBxtbM

Canadian Cree painter Kent Monkman managed to enter my portrait spree and if a fitting entry if I say so myself.

Now that I’ve been writing these little bits of text I suppose I should remain consistent. This Illinois-based musician recently turned 30. Happy birthday, Rory.

This captures the current mood these days I suppose. I had a friend mention I should put eyes in my characters more often. This was originally formatted for Instagram, though I think I still enjoy this square frame.

Maybe this is what happens when I attempt to avoid rendering full body poses for a character design piece. The rest is up to the viewers.

This is basically my reaction to this show being cancelled.

Please enjoy this fun compilation of moving images

True question. I suppose this is a relatable mood these days.

The waves crashed until the sky itself fell into the sea. Foregrounds and backgrounds blend together as a singular mass. Homes are ripped from their foundation.
Enter this piece from my second thesis. This piece depicts a sense of peace to be found within surrendering to the surrounding chaos. A stillness within can mitigate even the roughest of environments. At least that was my theory. The idea is that one can observe their interconnection with their sense of self and their surroundings, recognizing that both are one in the same.

I’d say this piece matches that request for eyeballs in my work a bit more. This vertically interactive catastrophe is also taken from my second semester thesis project.
As the inter dimensional apocalypse makes it way inland, all sense of up and down lifts away and vast skyscrapers are reduced to islands. Gardens grow from the sky and demonstrate that not even the greatest achievements of humanity can save their species from the grip of nature, for it invades when and wherever it pleases.

“Those who whine and misbehave
meet their end with a giant wave.
They run so fast but cannot flee
the monstrous perils of the magenta sea.”
More thesis work.

Hopefully this animated musical creation can bring a sense of peace amidst all the chaos lately.
